Kathie was born in Bristol and studied at Loughborough College of Art where she gained the National Diploma in Design. After this she gained the Art Teachers’ Diploma after studying at Leicester College of Art.
Kathie has painted and exhibited in Leicestershire for many years and has work in private collections in the UK, Italy, South Africa, Russia and the USA.
She is most known for her illustrations of Ladybird books having some 30 publications to her name.
Kathie is married and still living in Leicestershire.
