After many years of having our framing done by another company we have taken the big step to invest in framing equipment and slowly take over our own framing. There are a number of reasons for this, the first reason is over the past year we have seen a 10% increase in the cost of framing. The second reason is if I don’t have a framed picture in stock then I have to have it sent via another framing company this at certain times is taking 4 weeks which is not acceptable and is reflecting badly on us. If we start doing some framing in house then orders can be done quicker and also I can ensure the quality. There will at times be delays, usually getting artists to sign work.
We will not be able to do the embellished prints so theses will still be done by Peter’s agent.
Over the next few weeks we will be hopefully stocking both types of Peter Brook frames, Dark brown and Black ash, and also be able to offer more choices in framing styles.
